Hollister didn't provide me the gift receipt after multiple attempts
I went christmas shopping for clothes for my friend. I remembered to ask the cashier for box and gift receipt.
The cashier confirmed that and asked if I wanted to gift receipt in the bag which i said yes. When I got home, I could only find the receipt and couldn't find the gift receipt. The box he gave me wasn't large enough to fit my sweater I bought. I understood the christmas season was bad and overlooked his mistake.
unfortunately the sweater was too big on my friend and so 2nd time I went back with my receipt and asked to get a gift receipt but the cashier said it's been more than one day since i last bought it so I couldn't get a gift receipt. 3rd time I went back i brought back the clothes and exchanged for a small. After exchanging the person told me I couldn't get a gift receipt because I had done a refund and pruchase on the same receipt. As I walked out the store I realized that if I had done the refund first then a purchase on separate receipt I would be able to get a gift receipt.
So the 4th cashier i met was really rude. I just told her i want a refund. After the refund I asked to purchase it. The girl told me that I should have asked her for a gift receipt.
That it was unnecessary to do the returns. There was a long line after me , which she was imply that i was wasting her time. Miss, the only reason i had to come back for 4th time after waiting in line patiently each time was because each person wasn't able to give me a gift receipt. This store wasted my time for going back finding a parking spot and waiting in line during christmas hour.
And I still had to go through the 4th cashier telling me that I should have asked her beforehand that I wanted a gift receipt. The only reason I didn't ask her was because the 3rd cashier told me I wouldn't be able to get a gift receipt because I had done an exchange.
I am so fed up. I wouldn't have complained but the very last cashier made it seem like it was my problem for asking for a gift receipt when it was the cashier's problem for not providing me a gift receipt in the first place.
